Applicability: Candidates must have passed BA / BSc / Bikram (Degree / Diploma in Education Training and experience of teaching will be considered as an additional qualification). There should be a minimum CGPA 2.0 in Bachelor's or equivalent examination and minimum GPA of 1.0 in SSC and HSC or equivalent examination. Ages 25 to 25 years on May 7 and candidates must be single. In the case of age, the affidavit will not be accepted. In terms of physical ability, the height should be at least 5 feet 5 inches and the weight should be 5.7 kg. The chest size should be 5 inches in normal and 12 inches in an expanded position. Those dismissed from any military institution for any reason other than dismissal from government service, convicted in criminal cases and educational failure should not be considered eligible to apply.

Application process: Apply online. Candidates have to fill in the application form by going to www.joinbangladesharmy.mil.bd or http://army.teletalk.com.bd. After completing the form, the candidate will have to submit an application fee of Rs. After submitting the application fee, the application form cannot be changed in any way. After submitting the application fee, you need to login to the website with the user ID and password received. After a successful login, the candidate will be able to download an admit card for the primary election exam. Six copies of the online application form along with valid color photographs of the passport size, certificates of educational qualification and photocopy of the mark sheet, photocopy of national identity card and admit card of the preliminary examination should be submitted to the Election Board. Candidates should appear on the specified date in the election board/area headquarters mentioned next to their district based on the area mentioned in the circular along with the application form filled online for the preliminary selection examination.


Recruitment Process: Candidates who pass the Primary Election Examination will have to collect the written examination admit card signed by the Board President from the Election Board. Without the admit card, no one will be able to take the written exam. Passed candidates will have to attend the written examination at Shaheed Rameez Uddin Cantonment College, Dhaka Cantonment at 7am on Friday 26th February. Candidates must appear at the examination center 5 minutes before the start of the examination. The results of the written test will be published on the website of Bangladesh Army (http // www.army.mil.bd) on March 25. Candidates who pass the written test will have to take the final medical examination and oral examination. The candidates will be informed about the dates of these examinations via SMS.
